Dunns River Falls and Park (Ocho Rios Jamaica) GoPro Vacation Video / Royal Caribbean Navigator Video
The tour though Dunn's River Falls & Park in Ochos Rios Jamaica using a GoPro Hero and Hero 4 Silver. We were on a cruise through Royal Caribbean on the Navigator of the Seas. It was docked in Falmouth, so we had to drive about an hour to get to Dunns River Falls and Park.

We did the Jamaica excursion in April of this year (2016) with a group of 6. It included my girlfriend and I, along with her and my parents. My mother did not go, but she was able to watch most of it from the deck overlooking the Dunn River Falls & Park.
When we first started Dunn River Falls, I did not think it was safe for pretty much everyone to do, especially our parents as you have to climb rocks and the river current is pretty strong and slippery. You MUST wear water shoes otherwise you will likely be hurt.
After climbing all the way up Dunns River Falls, we were very glad that we did it. They do offer guided tours of Dunns River Falls, but you go in a straight line with a large group, including people not with your group all holding hands. It did not look overly fun. We started off on our own and thought we would be ok, however, after the first set of rocks, we realized how dangerous it was and luckily for us, there was a random guy there, that seemed like he was a local there to make some money at Dunns River Falls and helped us through. Without him, I'm sure someone would have gotten hurt. We did end up tipping him $20 for taking us through it.
Overall, Dunns River Falls and Park is a must see, especially if you are close to Ocho Rios and/or looking for an excursion while docked from a cruise ship. Our ship, "The Navigator of the Seas" owned by Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, arrived at the dock and we found a tour guide (one of many) sitting outside the cruise port. We asked the excursion desk at the cruise port once we arrived in Falmouth Jamaica and they pointed us in that direction and it worked out VERY well.
