The Hardest Things About Creating Something New Video
I wanted to discuss a few thoughts about most difficult things with creating something new (proofreading software). By something new, I mean something that was not created previously and is sufficient distinct that other people can recognize it as a differentiated product. There are many difficulties that one faces when you create something novel, but I think these are the most important:
1. Uncertainty. The entrepreneur/innovator does not know what they are doing, and they have to learn how to do it as they go.
2. Self-doubt. From my experience, I often feel a lot of self-doubt with creating this project, particularly with being a professor.
3. Feeling rather alone. Creating this new application is rather lonely, and it is difficult to deal with this feeling of loneliness.
4. Not knowing what to do. You also often do not know if you actions are ever correct or the most optimal.
5. Feeling unmotivated. You often feel unmotivated, but you still have to get up and do it every day. You have to create something new on a daily basis.
