In today's family vlog, our family started a science experiment for kids to show the kids how plants absorb water. Our family gathered everything for the science project, and in this science project you need jars, food coloring, water and cabbage. The kids added food coloring to the water for this science experiment and the kids made a mess putting the food coloring in the water. Then you need to get a leaf of cabbage for each jar for this experiment, and then you put the cabbage in the food coloring so that our family can see the food coloring get absorbed in the cabbage.
While we waited for the science experiment, our family danced in the family living room and our family also cleaned up the family living room. My daughter was curious about my mustache and beard. Should I shave my mustache? Should I shave my beard? While my son was sleeping my daughter and I had fun giving piggy-back rides and we looked at our science project for kids again to see if we saw in any changes in the experiment. The science experiment seems to be taking a long time. I got curious and I lifted a leaf from the science experiment to see if I could see anything.
I had a fun time with my daughter when we vlogged for the first time with the new family selfie stick that our family got. My daughter wanted to try and vlog using the family selfie stick, but the selfie stick was too heavy. I shortened the selfie stick and my daughter was able to manage the selfie stick better. We also figured out how to use the selfie stick with my iPhone 6, and we vlogged using the iPhone 6 on the selfie stick. We made a funny family video using the selfie stick.
My son woke up from his nap and his teeth seemed to be hurting, so I gave him a rag because I thought that maybe he was teething. We also popped some popcorn on the stove, which is the best way to make homemade popcorn. We had a Popcorn Party, and sand the Popcorn Party Time song. What do you like to put on your popcorn. Our family likes to put cheese on our popcorn for our Popcorn Party.
When my wife got home and the whole family was back together again, the art projects for the kids really started. My son was so happy to do an art project. He did his happy art project dance. He also made a huge mess doing his art project. A 2-year old doing an art project is ALWAYS a huge mess, but so much fun!
Our family had to wait overnight to see if the science experiment was going to have any change. The experiment needs some time to really get the plant absorption going. It's a fun science project it just takes a while.
