If you've ever really looked into how traditional businesses operate, they tend to have a very limited opportunity to acquire customers when it comes to their traditional advertising.
For example, most businesses rely on foot traffic to sustain their business model. In the example with a Starbucks store, here's what that looks like.
While Starbucks stores currently have an average of just over 500 customers per day, that number will grow to more than 750 customers in 2020, according to the report
So while 500 customers a day might appear to be incredible to you at this time it still is limited. With limits in the size of the store, how many people can physically fit into a Starbucks will always be capped.
However on the other hand if you were to sell something like a coffee delivery service and leveraged internet marketing and digital advertising, you really have an unlimited amount of potential customers.
A major barrier for traditional businesses now is that they know that they need to be using digital marketing, but they don't know how. They also don't have the time to be learning everything needed when it comes to digital marketing.
It takes an expert a lot of time to learn how all of the strategies work together. How you can set up campaigns on different ad networks, leverage paid traffic and use retargeting campaigns to get more customers from your advertisements.
