At-Home Calf Training - Lengthwise Barbell Donkey Calf Raises Video
If you train at home and have a tough time finding good calf exercises, you'll love this one. It's also great for the gym, too (I think it's a better movement than using a machine for the same exercise).
It's a donkey calf raise done using a barbell and a power rack. This targets the stretch position of the calves, which is critical for calf development.
If you want big calves, this gives you a great option. It allows for full range of motion, freedom of movement that you don't get in a machine and the ability to add however much resistance you want, which is not an option when doing these with a partner riding on your back.
