The CMRR label is becoming renowned for its remastered editions of the great recordings of the 20th century. Music lovers and audiophiles, with whom we cannot cheat when it comes to quality and authenticity, leave us glowing comments that make us very happy. For the first time, we are making a recording entirely produced by us and we are very proud to present it to you. It was realized in March 2021 in Paris and was published in January 2022. It gathers all the andantes and adagios of Mozart's piano sonatas recorded by a great lady of the piano: Chantal Stigliani.

Disciple of Yvonne Lefébure (pupil of Alfred Cortot) who collaborated with Ravel, Debussy. Chantal Stigliani is part of the great French tradition of the piano school. First prize winner of the Debussy International Competition, she explores the work of all the French composers of this period, making the most of the possibilities offered by modern pianos to approach a new technique of expression. Among her landmark and critically acclaimed recordings are Paul Dukas' Complete Works for Piano and Johann Sebastian Bach's Well-Tempered Clavier (books 1 and 2).

Chantal Stigliani is also a great teacher and I am happy to work on the piano with her and benefit from her advice and experience. The excellent recording by Timothée Renard (sound engineer) highlights the beauty of Chantal's performance. Chantal Stigliani impressed us by recording everything in one day and most of the time in first reading. More than a recording session, the small number of people present enjoyed a piano recital, a day in the company of Mozart.

Chantal Stigliani speaks about her interpretation: For me, there is a very strong link between the child and the music of Mozart. It's probably no coincidence that babies are rocked to his music, that his works are played in hospitals and even, it seems, to cows so that they produce more milk. There is a little magic in his music. The magic of human creation. There is no greater magic, I think. When I look at these busts of children which were realized by Hélène Giraudier https://www.helenegiraudier.com/, I notice that she succeeds in capturing the soul of the child. We can see that this one is smiling a little, he looks a little bit clever, in his eyes, there is a little bit of malice. To sum up, I play Mozart and I see the child.

About the Site 🌐

This site provides links to random videos hosted at YouTube, with the emphasis on random. 🎥

Origins of the Idea 🌱

The original idea for this site stemmed from the need to benchmark the popularity of a video against the general population of YouTube videos. 🧠

Challenges Faced 🤔

Obtaining a large sample of videos was crucial for accurate ranking, but YouTube lacks a direct method to gather random video IDs.

Even searching for random strings on YouTube doesn't yield truly random results, complicating the process further. 🔍

Creating Truly Random Links 🛠️

The YouTube API offers additional functions enabling the discovery of more random videos. Through inventive techniques and a touch of space-time manipulation, we've achieved a process yielding nearly 100% random links to YouTube videos.

About YouTube 📺

YouTube, an American video-sharing website based in San Bruno, California, offers a diverse range of user-generated and corporate media content. 🌟

Content and Users 🎵

Users can upload, view, rate, share, and comment on videos, with content spanning video clips, music videos, live streams, and more.

While most content is uploaded by individuals, media corporations like CBS and the BBC also contribute. Unregistered users can watch videos, while registered users enjoy additional privileges such as uploading unlimited videos and adding comments.

Monetization and Impact 🤑

YouTube and creators earn revenue through Google AdSense, with most videos free to view. Premium channels and subscription services like YouTube Music and YouTube Premium offer ad-free streaming.

As of February 2017, over 400 hours of content were uploaded to YouTube every minute, with the site ranking as the second-most popular globally. By May 2019, this figure exceeded 500 hours per minute. 📈
