Non-Surgical Nose Job in 15 Minutes | Treatment Case Study and Risks Video

in today’s episode I’ll be talking you through and demonstrating the non surgical nose job, where fillers are strategically placed along the nose to help straighten out any hooks or bumps.

First up let’s talk about noses, whether you’ve got a stubby nose or a hooked nose let’s face it noses come in all shapes and sizes.

Traditionally to alter the shape your nose, you'd require a surgical procedure commonly known as a rhinoplasty. This requires one or several incisions under general anaesthetic, and a recovery period of up to 2 weeks with the aid of a nasal cast.

The non-surgical option differs in that the procedure can be performed without the need of general anaesthetic and there is no down time.

Sounds too good to be true right? Well, the main disadvantages of the non-surgical option is that it is only suitable for certain candidates, secondly, as it uses dermal filler, it will only last for a period of up to 12 to 18 months, and most importantly, as it's not a traditional treatment, the risks are heightened, so always seek an adequately trained cosmetic practitioner.

WHO CAN HAVE THE PROCEDURE
For this procedure, those who have a natural bump at the top of their nose or who have a hook on the end will benefit most.

Unfortunately, this procedure is not suitable for people who suffer from certain medical conditions and for those who have already had a rhinoplasty in the past, as there is a larger chance of complications.

HOW IS IT PERFORMED
After completing a full facial assessment the area is cleansed thoroughly.

For this procedure, you’ll see that I use ultra fine syringes, this helps in a few ways, firstly the needle is much thinner and so reduces the chance of puncturing vessels, secondly it allows me to deposit smaller amounts in various locations as the syringe has more gradients to it.

I work in a systematic manner, firstly by injecting the bridge of the nose, down to the bone, and placing filler here will help to even out any lumps or bumps.

The second injection site is towards the tip of the nose, one of which is performed between the nostrils, this is uncomfortable for the patient but helps to elevate the hook of the nose.

After a quick facial assessment mid way through, I then continue to inject small amounts of filler according to where it is needed.

Something to be aware of, is that while you will see immediate changes to the nose, it will swell up during the procedure, so care and trust is needed with your practitioner as they will know where to place the filler best according to their facial assessments.

AFTERCARE
The treatment typically takes 15-20 minutes depending on the case and there is no downtime. It’s important to understand that you will have swelling and bruising in this area. For this your practitioner will advise an ice pack or simple pain relief. It’s vital that you don’t rub or touch the filler after the procedure, to avoid infection and displacement of the product.

It’s important to alert your practitioner, if you do notice any signs of infection which could include, redness or pus.

The filler will take full effect in two weeks and this will give time for the swelling and inflammation to settle and the results are life changing as you can see from my patient.

RISKS
The nose receives blood supply from a number of important arteries which also go on to supplying the eyes.

Now as with all surgical procedures there are risks you should be aware of. Infection, swelling bruising bleeding.

And more rarely blindness. Sadly Australia had its first case of blindness from dermal fillers this April. This can occur when filler is injected close to or into a vessel that supplies the eye causing a blockage so that the eye no longer has supply.

If you are a patient who is seeking such treatments it’s vital to ensure that the cosmetic practitioner, firstly, has the correct dissolving solution in their clinic and secondly knows how to deal with such an emergency.

But the good news is, is that this is very rare and when the procedure is done correctly the results are astonishing. For a lot of people they’ll have tears of joy.

Thanks for watching and if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to leave me a comment in the comments section below or pop by and see me in clinic.

Take care and stay healthy.

About the Site 🌐

This site provides links to random videos hosted at YouTube, with the emphasis on random. 🎥

Origins of the Idea 🌱

The original idea for this site stemmed from the need to benchmark the popularity of a video against the general population of YouTube videos. 🧠

Challenges Faced 🤔

Obtaining a large sample of videos was crucial for accurate ranking, but YouTube lacks a direct method to gather random video IDs.

Even searching for random strings on YouTube doesn't yield truly random results, complicating the process further. 🔍

Creating Truly Random Links 🛠️

The YouTube API offers additional functions enabling the discovery of more random videos. Through inventive techniques and a touch of space-time manipulation, we've achieved a process yielding nearly 100% random links to YouTube videos.

About YouTube 📺

YouTube, an American video-sharing website based in San Bruno, California, offers a diverse range of user-generated and corporate media content. 🌟

Content and Users 🎵

Users can upload, view, rate, share, and comment on videos, with content spanning video clips, music videos, live streams, and more.

While most content is uploaded by individuals, media corporations like CBS and the BBC also contribute. Unregistered users can watch videos, while registered users enjoy additional privileges such as uploading unlimited videos and adding comments.

Monetization and Impact 🤑

YouTube and creators earn revenue through Google AdSense, with most videos free to view. Premium channels and subscription services like YouTube Music and YouTube Premium offer ad-free streaming.

As of February 2017, over 400 hours of content were uploaded to YouTube every minute, with the site ranking as the second-most popular globally. By May 2019, this figure exceeded 500 hours per minute. 📈
