Proofreading Software: Building A Community That Cares About Others Video
The r3ciprocity.com proofreading software that I am building is about building a community that deeply cares about how others write. Is really about me giving of myself, and trying to incentive others to give to others as well. When I was in graduate school, I was told to always get peer feedback from others, but I soon discovered is really difficult to get this peer feedback because the incentives were misaligned. Most people will not provide a great amount of detail into helping on a particular article.
After this realization, I thought that there was a better way, so I sought out to design a proofreading software that was designed to care about others. The r3ciprocity.com proofreading software is carefully crafted to incentivize people to truly do care about others’ writing. The goal of this proofreading software is to make our jobs feel like a game, such that the better the proofreading and editing you provide, the more that you will move up in rankings on in the proofreading software.
Proofreading software is somewhat difficult to design, because I really don’t want to use any rule-based algorithms as language is constantly changing.

My end goal this proofreading software is to help as many people as I possibly can, and to make my giving scalable. Right now, my YouTube videos on this proofreading software are specifically talking to graduate students, small businesses, and, startup because I think that these are the ones that can require some proofreading software the most. They often do not have time or the resources to check their work. There’s so many people that can use proofreading software, and it is not just limited to graduate students and small businesses. I’m really am excited about being able to give as much as I possibly can with this r3ciprocity.com proofreading software.
