Q: how the vitamin C is still effective when we use a dropper and not a pump dispenser
A: we use certain ingredients in our formula (like metabilsulfite) that help stabilize the break down of Vitamin C over time. Also, maintaining a lower pH helps preserve the vitamin C as well, which is what we do with this serum.
Q: how come the serum has a light yellow tint from the day they receive the product, does this mean it has already oxidized?
A: unlike many other vitamin C serums on the market, we've combined the typical antioxidants of vitamins C, E, ferulic and hyaluronic with a proprietary blend of botanical extracts like grape extract. This botanical blend naturally gives the serum a yellow tint from day 1, and will gradually intensify in color as the months go by. So, this doesn't mean that the serum has already oxidized - when the serum becomes a brown color, that is when it has oxidized and it's time for a new bottle.
Q: How long is the shelf life?
A: About 6 months, and there is no need to store it in the fridge. The best way to determine when to change to a new bottle is when the serum has turned to a brown color.
