The day is finally here! Today we are going to be skydiving in Wanaka! That’s right: 15,000ft over Lake Wanaka, freefalling at 200km/h... Let’s do this!
We wake up especially early this morning to do the first skydive of the day with Skydive Wanaka so that we can experience a sunrise skydive. After checking in and gearing up in some sexy jumpsuits and harness, we are ready to hit the skies over Lake Wanaka.
This is the ultimate adrenaline activity in Wanaka and once we meet our tandem master, we head for the plane and start climbing to 15,000ft.
From up here, we can embrace the views of Wanaka, Lake Wanaka and the surrounding mountains. Then it’s time to jump! It’s an insane experience of sensory overload and freefalling.
