"Just Breathe" Video
A short film we made with our friends at Citizens of the World Mar Vista Charter School, "Just Breathe" features kids speaking candidly about anger and how they cope - something for all ages to ponder... With a running time of a whopping 3 1/2 minutes, “Just Breathe” is the quickest lesson on mindful meditation you’ll ever get, by the youngest teachers you’ll ever have. ;-)
"Just Breathe" is the first in a series of 6 Mindful Shorts -- experiential short documentaries that explore the practice of mindfulness as it pertains to self and culture from childhood through old age.
We have now completed four of six films -- "Just Breathe" (on Anger), "Release" (on Anxiety), "Into Light" (on Depression), and "A Good Day" (on Addiction) -- that are currently being shared around the world via social media, film festivals, classrooms, doctors' offices, and social service departments. There are two more films (on Trauma, and Grief) still ahead to make. Once those are finished, the series as a whole will provide people with a holistic view of mindfulness and how the application of this simple philosophy can help us - as individuals, and as a global community - throughout all stages of life.
