The Second World War touched every country in Europe, from the nucleus of the storm in Nazi Germany to the frigid tundras of the Soviet Union to the rural communities nestled in the French mountains. But one country seldom talked about in this time is Spain. Spain was at this time just recovering from the incredibly destructive Spanish Civil War (1936 - 1939) upon which the Fascist Francisco Franco became the de-facto leader. Despite not entering the war on any side, the story of Spain during the Second World War is a fascinating one. Hope you enjoy the video!
