April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. The theme for 2017 is “Building Community, Building Hope.”

Strong, nurturing communities that are supportive of families play a key role in preventing child abuse and neglect, and promoting child and family well-being.

We can all do something to help a child in need. When we are aware of child abuse or neglect, we can report it. Something, say something. We can all step up and speak up, because a child can’t.
