How To Plan
Learning how to plan is an essential skill.
It will boost your ability to think critically and look at things from a detached perspective.
It also helps with providing a sense of direction and focuses your attention on objectives and results.
In this video, we’re gonna go over some guiding principles when it comes to learning how to plan.

My first piece of advice when it comes to planning is to set broad goals for yourself.
The essence of planning is to have something that you’re working towards.
You don’t need to have a concrete idea about what you want to do, but you should have a general direction that you want to move towards.
Next, when it comes to learning how to plan, you want to find systems that work for you.
Systems help to automate repetitive tasks that need to get done in a certain way.
The less you have to consciously think about your plan, the better.
When it comes to systems, my personal favorite is Simpleology.
You can build out an unlimited number of systems and have them start manually or automatically.
In addition, when it comes to planning, you shouldn’t be afraid to pick the brains of other people.
Don’t think that you have to figure out how to plan all on your own.
If you can, find someone who’s willing to share with you what’s working for them.
Then, apply it to your own life and see how it works out for you.
You might be able to use it as is, or you may need to make some adjustments so that it works better for your situation.
As you’re executing your plan, make sure you’re paying attention to your progress.
If something is not working, then you must do something different.
Only a crazy person does the same thing over and over again and expects a different result.
At the same time, if what you’re doing is working, then keep doing it.
Don’t try to fix what isn’t broken.
Finally, when you’ve hit a significant milestone in your plan, it’s important that you celebrate your victory.
This will help you stick to your plan and keep your motivation high.
