Female Engineer, Caboose Leading Local On Industrial Spur! Video
Caboose leading a CSX local switcher on the Cincinnati Industrial Track! Woman engineer and awesome GP38-2! Tell Tales and historic B&O dwarf signals are also featured.This industrial branch or spur was once the mainline of the Cincinnati, Dayton and Hamilton Railroad. There is still over a mile of track in use but the abandoned tracks still go twice that far all the way to Johnson Doppler Lumber Company near the West Fork Of Mill Creek. I found numerous abandoned railroad sidings off this line and one that crosses Beekman Street in the West End of Cincinnati. I would like to film this branch but the area is a little shady and I have already been robbed several times and car jacked once. The caboose on this train is the same one that I filmed last August along River Road. I show that scene also along with the caboose leading the local off the Cincinnati Industrial Track in February for the outro. I got lucky to catch this train. I had just filmed an I&O local and street running trains in Lawrenceburg, Indiana and stopped by to see if the tracks were shinny. Shout out to Angela! Thanks for watching!
