Technique of Laparoscopic Parenchymal Liver Transection for Major Hepatectomy

This short video shows our standardized technique of laparoscopic parenchymal transection by a combination of ultrasound energy device and ultrasound aspiration system. Hem o Lock clips and vascular stapler are used to seal large intra-parenchymal vessels found during transection. The IAP between 12 a 14 mmHg allows to reduce bleeding and the use of Pringle Maneuver.
