To me this is a balancing act; you can go very small size and see how you perform with it or you can go to the other end of the scale and trade it full-size and see what happens. Trading with very small sizes what real data are you going to get from it? Trade the strategy with a trade size that is meaningful to you but less meaningful than normal.
