Green Book: Historic travel guidebook created by and for African Americans

This year's Academy Award for Best Picture went to ‘Green Book'. The story is set in America's deep south in the early 1960s, with a black classical pianist being driven on tour, by a white driver.What many moviegoers were not aware of before they watched the film, is that the "Green Book" was an actual book - or more precisely, a guide book for travel written for a very specific audience.
