This is the first time I have filmed a week-long vlog and also my first time trying cold showers for an entire week. I posted on Instagram that I wanted to do this cold water challenge after our water heater broke and a lot of you joined in for it, which was so exciting and so encouraging! There is a lot of research suggesting that cold showers & exposure to cold may have health benefits (many of which I was unfamiliar with until recently doing my own research). I wanted to do this mostly because I was curious and I am always willing to step outside of my comfort zone. I went into the challenge with low expectations. I documented my progress along the week. The outcome was surprising.

Breathing tip: Try to avoid hyperventilating when breathing deeply, which may cause dizziness or make you feel panicked. This is easily rectified by slowing your breaths and focusing on a consistent breathing pattern.
