Balram disrespects his sister Subhadra by breaking the promise of his daughter's marriage with her son. It is a story from Mahabharat. In this story, Shakuni Mama makes an evil plan and traps Balram in it. Balram getting trapped breaks his promise and disrespects his sister Subhadra.
In this story when Subhadra had gone to meet her brother Krishna and Balram to talk about the incident which happened to them. She told Krishna and Balram about the game in which his Husband Arjun lost everything and she wanted revenge of that from Duryodhana. Balram says to Subhadra - I’m going to Duryodhana and I will talk with him and at that time Shakuni Mama makes an evil plan and he traps Balram in that plan and takes a promise from him that he will make his daughter Sasirekha get married with Duryodhana's son and when Subhadra comes to know about this promise she asks Balram what about the promise you had given to me. You said she will marry my son and Balram says - I have already given my word to Duryodhan now and on hearing this Subhadra feels disrespected and she leaves the place and goes away.
